Sustainable Tourism Development for Prosperity in Sierra Leone

From June 17-26, 2019, EIIA hosted Sierra Leone’s Honourable Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Memunatu Pratt, and officials of the National Tourist Board of Sierra Leone in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. The purpose of the nine-day trade mission was to identify and meet potential Canadian partners and stakeholders to discuss sustainable tourism development. As part of the program, the Honourable Minister visited Parks Canada, Algonquin College School of Hospitality and Tourism, and Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec Port of Montreal Cruise Terminal, and others.
